I'm happy to say I finished redesigning my baby plan to match my new logo and marketing material! The plan, which consists of 3 photo sessions and your choice of a 10x10 photo book or art canvas, is outlined in this 8 page brochure. This would make a fabulous gift for expecting parents.
The day before this session was beautiful, 70 degrees and sunny. Spring teases us around here though and the next day was 40 and raining. Luckily, we found a little spot sheltered from the wind and finished just before the rain came.
I posted about his butterfly friend just after the shoot. Here are some other pictures from my fun morning with Sam at the Butterfly House!
I dropped this little man off for his last day of kindergarten this morning. Seriously, didn't I blog this post yesterday?
What a fun year he had! He learned to read and write in full sentences. He loves writing stories and told me he was going to be an author when he grows up, or a fireman (it changes daily). He can add change, do addition and subtraction, tell me all about the life cycle of a butterfly (which reminds me I need to order one to grow), tell time, and sing songs that I sang in my grade school days but have long forgotten about. He has made new friends, learned new games, grew his art skills, and gets made at me when I ask if the sore on his lip was from kissing girls at recess.
Welcome summer vacation. Lets go by really, really slow OK? I will not acknowledge the fact that I have a first grader until August.

I love the idea the boys think up. They have tie blankets Grandma made them and they recently started using as capes and jump off the stairs to "fly" The other day Will decided that if he put it on, got on the swing, and jumped off he might fly (or at least float).
Wes wasn't feeling very well, so he got his "cape" and watched.
It looked hard to get swinging with a heavy super cape. He really had to put some effort into it.
Unfortunatly the jump was very uneventful. His heavy cape got stuck on the swing.
While that was taking place, this little thief ran off with somebody's popcorn.
