One week old baby Asher is an absolute doll! Thanks Megan for letting me practice once again!
The last few days I've been working on the basics. I've been working on shooting manual (again... I got lazy and stopped) and I'm getting pretty confident in getting a decent exposure that way. (read... decent, not perfect) I've also been practicing getting a good focus. I want nice crisp eyes. Not getting there just yet. And I think I need new victims to practice on.
There is road construction a block from our house. We HAD to go check it out. The boys were able to tell me the name of every machine and what it did.
I got the chance today to play with my camera at craft day. The kids had fun and I took pictures while dodging water guns AND holding my baby. You learn how to multitask when you're a mom!
Yesterday I got my new camera! A Canon 50D and as Will, my 4-1/2 year old son, stated it is "awesome". The purpose of this blog is not to write. I'm not a good writer, thought I know I can become a good photographer. My goal is to post a picture (or two) a day. Not just any picture, but picture with a soul. A picture that can be stared at for hours. One worthy to be hung on the wall. I hope that though this practice I can call myself a photographer. A photographer capturing life's simple moments.
