Christmas Card.. my attempts

I made my hard decisions... picked the clothes, determined the location, now all I needed was the boys to cooperate.  And I thought picking the clothes was the hard part.

Day one... the weatherman lied, it was not nice and sunny, but rather cold and cloudy.  First sign not to go out.  Second clue... Wyatt was not feeling 100%. First shot...

Day two was beautiful.  The result... not so much.

Wyatt ends up on the ground again.  It seems to be the theme when I try to take a picture of all three of them.

And he won't stay put. But I have to give credit to Will and Wes for being cooperative.

THE END....

Now I did get some pretty good ones... really cute ones actually. But I'm not sharing those just yet!  You'll have to wait for the card.

Catching up...

I'm behind on blogging my sessions. But, it gives me a look back on the beautiful fall we had!

This couple has been married for two years and wanted new pictures since they haven't had any done since their wedding.  I wish I took the time to get pictures of my hubby and I during the years after we got married.  Now I'm lucky to get both of us in a picture at the same time!

I Heart Faces - Scenic B&W

This weeks theme at I Heart Faces is Scenic Black and White.

My attempted shoot for  Christmas card pictures works well for the theme.

I love bridges!

6!?!?!?!

Yep, he is six! And looking so grown up!

What he has been into the last few months...
1. Counting.  He counts EVERYTHING.  Multiple times.  He counted to 100 while taking a shower the other night....  about 5 times.
2.  Reading.  He asked me what A.S.S spelled.  He knew the answer.  Just wanted to see what I would say.
3. Building. His favorite is his Magnext sets.  We had a mega lego creation Thanksgiving evening.  He is going to LOVE the Qubits from Discovery Toys we are giving him.
4. Art.  He made a fishing scene with a straw, rocks, and other misc things he found laying around the other day.   It was very creative.  I wish I got a picture of it before Wyatt took it apart.
5. Cards.  He plays a mean game of Go Fish!

These are from our attempt at getting pictures for our Chrismas cards... more about that in another post!
