His birthday was last Saturday... better late then never I guess!
Here is to another great year, my favorite red headed, slightly ornery, very funny, energetic, little boy!
Bad news... our basement has flooded twice in 9 days.
Good news... we have our own personal splash pool in our driveway thanks to our sump pump hose!
Theresa was the winner of my First Day of Summer giveaway. She won a free session by telling me why she loved summer. This was her answer... "I love summer because it feels like you should be by the pool or beach, which I love! And it's nice so we can play outside a lot!"
Thanks guys, I had a great time. Enjoy your peek!

You gotta love the ice cream truck, even when it comes by thirty minutes before dinner because there are only a few things that make three little boys quiet at the same time.
Come back soon ice cream truck..... PLEASE!!!

Jason's cousin and his family are moving to Tennessee. They stopped at our place for the night and took the opportunity for a quick family photo session. Despite moving and being on the road for the past few days I think they look pretty darn good!
It was good seeing you guys again! I hope you made it safe and sound.

It has been a big weekend for my sweet Will. Friday evening (these pictures were taken at 9:15 thanks to a street light and long summer days) he finally got the confidence to ride his bike without his training wheels. It has been about a months journey but once he got the hang of it he was so proud.
He went fishing with his daddy this morning. He caught the biggest Walleye of the day all on his own!
The drawback of being the family picture taker is that there are very few pictures with me in them. So I have to remind myself to every so often set the camera and hand it over to Jason. When I do I get wonderful memories like this one. It was the end of our day at the beach. We were hot, tired and covered from head to toe in sand. My three hooligans wanted nothing to do with a picture. It is not perfect, but I still love it... because it is me and my little men.
For the second year in a row we spent the 4th in Yankton at Midway Beach. The boys love the water. Will spend the majority of the day hunting for sea shells while Wyatt has found the joy of playing in the water and along with that, exploring every rock and "treasure" on the beach.
This post is just a test to see if will show up someplace else. But since posting "testing" would be boring, here is a cute face.
